It's seed season!!

Spring is here! We have seeds from three companies. The small packets of vegetable and herb seeds from Vermont-based Artistic Gardens are all $.28! The larger white packages of vegetable and herb seeds are from the Maine-based worker coop FEDCO; they are priced as marked. The colorful packages are from Seed Savers Exchange (mostly flowers), most packages are $1.80.

Look for the seeds in the Produce Aisle. They either stored above the bagged potatoes in racks or above the onions and potatoes in trays.

Because of the global warming or acts of God, the USDA has updated it's hardiness zone map. planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/PHZMWeb/InteractiveMap.aspx There are green planting guides hanging by the trays of herbs and for more planting and care info try the Cornell Cooperative Extension website at http://blogs.cornell.edu/horticulture/
